JEE Main 2019: Students of class 12th interested in undergraduate engineering courses need to get through the entrance test. It is mandatory for all the eligible candidates to appear and get a pass in the entrance exam in order to take admission in engineering colleges. There are many national and state level entrance exams that are offering admission in the engineering colleges. Among all these entrance exams, AIEEE is a national level exam. It is also popularly known as Joint Entrance Exam 2019 – JEE Main exam.  Till now, the Central Board of Secondary Education is the conducting authority for this national level exam. But from now onwards, NTA will conduct the exam for offering admission in engineering courses as well as architecture courses in IITs.

From the year 2019, Joint Entrance Test will be conducted twice a year. It will be conducted in the month of January and April. The official’s dates for both the exams will be available online. However, both these exams will be conducted on different dates and shifts. Recently, the January exam was completed. Now, the procedure for the April exam has been started.

JEE Main Exam Dates April 2019 – Important Dates

The dates are for the April Session.

  • Availability of JEE Main application form: 8th February 2019
  • Last date for the registration: 7th March 2019
  • Payment of application fees along with uploading the required documents: 8th March 2019
  • Exam Date: 6th April 2019- 20th April 2019.

JEE Mains 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2019 is compulsory to fulfill. So, only eligible candidates need to look at the eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates need to apply for the exam. These eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

  • The only 12th passed candidates are eligible to apply. In fact, 12th appearing students can also apply for the entrance exam. Candidates who have passed class 12th class in 2016 or before this year need not apply for 2016. In fact, candidates who appeared in class 12th exam in 2016 and did not pass in 2016 but get passed in 2017 are not eligible to apply for JEE.
  • Candidates who passed the class 12th exam in the year 2017, 2018 or getting appear in 2019 are eligible to appear in the engineering entrance exam.
  • For three consecutive years, a candidate can apply for the exam.

Joint Entrance Exam 2019 – JEE Main Registration 2019

  • Visit the main website to click on JEE Main 2019 Registration. www.jeemain.nic.in.
  • On the screen, click on Apply for JEE Main 2019.
  • Read all the instructions and after that click on the button to Proceed to Apply Online.
  • Now, register and fill all the details.
  • Submit the details.
  • It will create the Application Number as well as Password.

JEE Main April Exam 2019 – Application Form

During the filling up of the application form, the candidates are required to provide personal details along with the academic information. So, before filling up the application get all the documents ready with you. Get ready with Aadhar card, email id, phone number, class 10th, and 12th mark sheet details. Income certificate scanned photograph and signature.

Joint Entrance Exam Application Fees 2019

Along with the application form, the application fees need to pay. For the first attempt as well as the second attempt, the application fee is the same.

The mode of paying application fee is online via Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Debit Card. However, one can also deposit the case via e-challan at SBI branches only.

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019

JEE Main will have 2 exam papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates are free to opt for either Paper 1 or paper 2. In fact, they can opt for both of these papers as per the course requirement. Paper 1 is for B. E./ B. Tech. In fact, Paper 2 is for B. Arch/ B. Planning.

Paper 1: This paper will have three sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 30 questions. Each question will carry 4 marks. So, each section will consist of 120 marks. Hence, Paper 1 consists of 360 marks.

It will consist of Multiple Choice Question Type. The time duration for Paper 1 is 3 hours. The exam will be conducted via online mode only. The question paper will be Hindi, Gujarati and English Language.

Paper 2: Paper 2 is divided into 3 parts.

Part1: It consists of Mathematics and will have 30 questions.
Part 2: This part will have questions of General Aptitude. It will have 50 questions in total.
Part 3: will have Drawing Skill. This part will have 2 questions and it will consist of 70 marks.

JEE Main Admit Card 2019  – Available Admit Card Now

The applicants will download the admit card for the entrance exam. It will be available online. At least 7 days before the exam, the admit card will get available online. So, the candidates will download the admit card via online mode only by using their registration number and password.

JEE Main April Cut Off 2019

To pass the exam, the candidates must score the minimum marks. The authorities will release the cut for January and April session at the time of declaration of result. JEE Main Counseling 2019

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for counseling. Seat allotment will take place in counseling only.

JEE Main Result  2019 and Rank List 2019

The result will be declared via online mode only. So the appeared applicants will check JEE Main result will go online to see their passing status. Soon after the completion of the exam, NAT will declare the result. Along with the result, the rank list will also get published on the official website. So, on the release of result and rank list, candidates can check them online.
