JEE Main 2020: Students of class 12th interested in undergraduate engineering courses need to get through the entrance test. It is mandatory for all the eligible candidates to appear and get a pass in the entrance exam in order to take admission in engineering colleges. There are many national and state-level entrance exams that are offering admission in the engineering colleges. Among all these entrance exams, AIEEE is a national level exam. It is also popularly known as Joint Entrance Exam 2020 – JEE Main exam. Till now, the Central Board of Secondary Education is the conducting authority for this national level exam. But from now onwards, NTA will conduct the exam for offering admission in engineering courses as well as architecture courses in IITs.
From the year 2020, the Joint Entrance Test will be conducted twice a year. It will be conducted in the month of January and April. The official’s dates for both the exams will be available online. However, both of these exams will be conducted on different dates and shifts. Recently, the January exam was completed. Now, the procedure for the April exam has been started.

JEE Mains 2020 – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for JEE Main is compulsory to fulfill. So, only eligible candidates need to look at the eligibility criteria. Only eligible candidates need to apply for the exam. These eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
- The only 12th passed candidates are eligible to apply. In fact, 12th appearing students can also apply for the entrance exam. Candidates who have passed class 12th class in or before this year need not apply for, In fact, candidates who appeared in class 12th exam in and did not pass in but get passed in are not eligible to apply for JEE.
- Candidates who passed the class 12th exam in the year 2020 or getting appear in are eligible to appear in the engineering entrance exam.
- For three consecutive years, a candidate can apply for the exam.

The mode of paying the application fee is online via Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Debit Card. However, one can also deposit the case via e-challan at SBI branches only.
JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020
JEE Main will have 2 exam papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates are free to opt for either Paper 1 or paper 2. In fact, they can opt for both of these papers as per the course requirement. Paper 1 is for B. E./ B. Tech. In fact, Paper 2 is for B. Arch/ B. Planning.
Paper 1: This paper will have three sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 30 questions. Each question will carry 4 marks. So, each section will consist of 120 marks. Hence, Paper 1 consists of 360 marks.
It will consist of Multiple Choice Question Type. The time duration for Paper 1 is 3 hours. The exam will be conducted via online mode only. The question paper will be Hindi, Gujarati and English Language.
Paper 2: Paper 2 is divided into 3 parts.
Part1: It consists of Mathematics and will have 30 questions.
Part 2: This part will have questions about General Aptitude. It will have 50 questions in total.
Part 3: will have Drawing Skill. This part will have 2 questions and it will consist of 70 marks.

JEE Main Admit Card 2020 – Available Admit Card Now
The applicants will download the admit card for the entrance exam. It will be available online. At least 7 days before the exam, the admit card will get available online. So, the candidates will download the admit card via online mode only by using their registration number and password.
