Navodaya Vidyalaya Class Xi Admission 2019 JNVST Class 11th Admission 2019 2020 Navodaya Vidyalaya NVS Admission Class 11th Online Registration: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development Dept. of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India). The Samiti has decided to organize Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission Test (Class XIth) for 2019 2020.
All those candidates who are eagerly waiting for admission in Class 11th have good news. Navodaya Vidyalaya has issued the notification for admission in class XI for the academic year 2019-2020. The form for 2019 is available through lateral entry tests 2019-20 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV).
Candidates who qualify the criteria can apply for online application form for admission in XIth class Commerce Stream, Arts Stream, Science Stream, Commerce with Maths or without Maths, Science with Maths or without Maths, Vocational, and Humanities. The forms will be available soon.
As per the scheme, in each district, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has to be set up. In total, there are 630 functional Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya which are spread all over India. So to take the maximum benefit of the infrastructure and facilities of all the Vidyalaya, it has been decided to fulfill the seats through All India level Selection Test. The information for vacant seats, as per each district has been separately given through local newspaper.
Below are the details of how to apply for Navodaya Vidyalaya XIth Class Admission Form 2019 – 2020
1 Those candidates can apply for entrance test and seek admission, who is presently studying in Class 10th for the academic year 2018-2019 from CBSE/State Boars or Govt. recognized school in the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning.
2 The candidate has to qualify Class XIth in this session itself, i.e. he/she should pass the academic session 2018-2019.
3 Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has the right to refer to any candidate to a Medical Board for the exact age of the candidate, in case, If any doubt arises regarding the age, mentioned on the certificate submitted by the candidate, before the confirmation of admission of the candidate.
JNVST Class XI Admission – Age Criteria
All those candidates seeking admission must be born between 01.06.2001 and 31.05.2005 inclusive of both the date. This age criterion is applicable to all the candidates, irrespective of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe.
As per the decision of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, the mode of submission of application is online. The candidate can apply for the application from June 2019(expected). If there is no seat available in the JNV, the candidate will be considered as preparing for merit list.
Interested candidate can visit the website –www.navodaya.gov.in Or website of JNVs for downloading the application and for further reference.
- Candidate selection will be based on the merit list of District. The number of the student will be selected under various categories against the various seats.
- A common merit list will be prepared at each state, after selecting the candidates against the vacant seats in the JNVS of District.
- If still, any more vacancies exist, it will be filled from the state level merit list.
- Admission will be final on the basis of District merit list of the concerned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
- The candidate, who has been selected, does not join, then the seat which is vacant, will be filled from state level merit list.
There will be free education in the schools including uniforms, lodging, board, books, but a nominal fee of Rs. 600/- per month will be collected from the Class XI and Class XII students. SC/ST students and girls who fall under BPL are exempted from the stated fees. Even Govt. employees have to pay a fee of Rs. 1500/- who fall under the category of children education allowance.
The right to admission is only after the verification of the selected students. Admission to Class XI is free of cost. No fee has to be paid to the school for admission to class XI. Parents should not take a transfer certificate from the previous school until the admission to the candidate is confirmed.
